Urge them to support the following pledge: The European Parliament will soon vote on its resolution on the trade and investment agreement between the EU and the US (TTIP). I am deeply concerned about the inclusion of an investor-state dispute settlement clause in TTIP and therefore ask you to commit yourself to the following position: “I reject special rights for foreign investors and in particular any investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS) mechanism in TTIP. I will vote against any resolution that fails to firmly reject special rights for foreign investors and an investor-state dispute settlement.”
